| Salang Bay is the last stop when you come by ferry. It's a small and cozy Bay that is up north on Tioman Island and thus closest to the dive sites. Salang has an adventure traveler atmosphere, with most people involved in some kind of activity. The bay is blessed with a beautiful dense rainforest surrounding and a shallow lagoon perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving.
From here you have a clear view of Coral and Soyak Island. Since Soyak is so close by, it is an obvious choice for snorkeling to see turtles, bumphead parrots and pelagic fish.
Sit on Salang's beach and enjoy a spectacular sun set almost everyday. Salang is the place for you, if you're into meeting people and having a good time with us.
There are quite a number of resorts in Salang Bay, all with their own restaurant serving fresh seafood, asian and western delights. Salang has a bit of a nightlife with the Four-S Cafe being the only real hang-out place after dinner. |
