You will find plenty of restaurants in Salang Bay or in ABC. All restaurants serve a great variety of local cuisine, Thai and Indonesian dishes, Western meals, fresh BBQ seafood or BBQ chicken. You should try some of the great curries and we'll promise you’ll have no problem satisfying your taste buds.

Restaurants in Salang Bay:

For sweet & sour fish slices, Indonesian clay pot prawns or sizzling bean curd and many more Chinese specialties we recommend the Chinese restaurant at Salang beach Resort.

Famous Roti Canai either plain or with cheese, egg, sardine or banana can be found at Salang Indah Resturant right next to our wet area. During the day they serve plenty of Asian and Western dishes and at night you should not miss the fantastic BBQ sea food literally fresh from the sea.

Salang Dreams Restaurant right next to the jetty in Salang Bay has become the most popular restaurant these days thanks to it's perfect location right at the beach. They serve finger licking whole BBQ Chicken with BBQ potato and sweet corn, Fresh seafood, Asian dishes but also steaks and pasta. They have a small cafe right at the beach which is the only place serving proper coffee. The food is good, the price is fair but the service gets slower in the evening when the place is jam packed.   

Within Salang Pusaka Resort you can find their own beautiful restaurant. They have nice settings and serve you the standard local dishes or seafood, steaks and grilled vegetables. The have a projector and often show movies at night.

For those who really want to try local dishes, go during lunch hours to the Salang Complex building next to the jetty. You will find a few food stalls offering Nasi Campur (mixed rice) the way only locals and insider eat; definitive worth the visit.

Restaurants in ABC (Air Batang Bay):

In ABC you have to walk a bit longer from restaurant to restaurant simply because everything is further streched apart.

In the northern end you find the small, typical local beach restaurant of ABC Cottages. the setting might not be very nice but the food surely is. Try fresh grilled squid or their sambal prawns and you won't be disappointed. They serve mainly Asian dishes.

Nazri II resort has a nice restaurant serving some of the best food on the island. The portions are large, the price is fair and you have the choice between an amazing variety of Malaysian, Indian, Indonesian and Western Dishes. We have to recommend almost every dish on the menu!

Johan's Resort is right next to our dive centre and it's small beach restaurant serves mainly Asian cuisine and BBQ seafood for dinner.

South Pacific Restaurant is closer to the jetty and has some really good food on offer. Don't miss to try their curries and fried rice.

If you like local cuisine, try the restaurant right at the jetty for some Nasi Lemak (coconut rice) for breakfast or other local dishes.

Further south along ABC Bay are a couple more restaurants such as Mawar's or Mokthar's, serving local and Asian dishes if they're open.

Nazri I Resort is at the very southern end of ABC Bay. Their restaurant has a large variety of seafood, grilled meats and local dishes on offer. The highlight however is for sure Anita's Pizza place. Situated right at the beach at Nazri I Resort, this is not only a famous place to enjoy a really delicious pizza but it's also a cosy hangout in the evenings to enjoy a beer while chatting with some new friends about the latest diving experiences.
