The IANTD Deep Diver course enables the sport diver to develop the skills, techniques, tools, and gain the knowledge and in-water experience to become proficient and enjoy safer diving in depths up to 40 msw.
The course introduces the use of dual outlet valves, reels and lift bags, detailed dive planning, equipment configuration as well as physiological and psychological aspects of deeper diving. The course consists of approximately 12 hours of lectures, confined water experience and four dives including two dives to depths between 30 and 40 msw.
Course duration: 3 days
Prerequisites: Advanced Open Water Diver certification with 15 logged dives.
