B&J Diving Centre is a Malay/German/Swiss run dive school which started its operation back in 1987 and runs two dive shops on Tioman Island on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
Diving has become our life and our passion. Our mission is to fill your holiday with fun, excitement and unforgettable memories; without cutting on quality and safety and while protecting our marine environment.
You have the choice between Salang Bay, which lies at the northern tip of Tioman Island close to the prime dive sites, and Ayer Batang (aka ABC) which is a bit further south and more tranquil.
In 2008 we also opened another dive center in Johor Bahru, close to the border to Singapore to ensure flexible dive training for our Singaporean and Malaysian customers.
B&J is a fully qualified PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center (offering all PADI courses from beginner to instructor level), a DSAT and IANTD technical diving training facility (offering technical diving education up to trimix instructor), a DAN sponsor (offering DAN Oxygen Provider courses) and last but not least a GoEco Operator, which means that we care about our water planet and have a strict no glove and no touch policy.
B&J operates two fully equipped facilities on Tioman Island which can provide well maintained gear and professional service for up to 50 divers. We are the only dive centre on Tioman that provides Air, Nitrox, Oxygen and Helium tank fills and we have our air analyzed quarterly for purity. Both our shop’s have a well balanced retail section ranging from PADI educational material, dive gear, t-shirts, accessories to tech equipment.
ABC is equipped with a bar and a swimming pool while Salang has a nice veranda overlooking the nearby islands.
Our class rooms are air-conditioned, and for more comfort we have large screen TV to view the PADI educational videos. |
